Local SEO, web design, PPC, GBP, reviews and citations. Six services, one person.

Most agencies sell local SEO as a single black box. I do not. The work splits into six services that you can buy individually or together, and each one has a page on this site explaining what it is, what it costs, and what you get for the money.

  • Service 01

    Local SEO

The technical and content work that gets your site ranking in the Google Maps 3-pack and the organic local-finder results. Citation cleanup, on-page optimisation, monthly ranking tracking with year-over-year history.

    From £449/month

  • Service 02

    PPC management

Founder-managed Google Ads for trades and local services. Personally written ad copy, weekly search-term review, conversion tracking set up properly. Capped at 10 accounts so the founder-managed promise stays honest.

    From £400/month + ad spend

  • Service 03

    Web design

Hand-coded Next.js websites for trades and service businesses who want a site that ranks from day one rather than fighting a page builder afterwards.

    See the tiers →

  • Service 04

    GBP management

The Google Business Profile work: post writing, photo updates, Q&A seeding, hours and service edits, suspension appeals. Posts alone run £97 a month; full management is bundled into the Core and Growth packages.

    From £97/month

  • Service 05

    Review responses

Multi-platform inbox run on your behalf. Personally-drafted responses to every review, sent within 24 hours, approved by you before they go live. Bundled into Core and Growth.

    Bundled into Core + Growth

  • Service 06

    Citation building

Directory submissions, NAP-consistency audits and ongoing monitoring that keeps your business details consistent across the 50+ UK directories Google pulls from for local ranking. Bundled into Core and Growth.

The model

Founder-led, UK-only

Six services, one person. No account-manager relay. Every audit, every review response, every report lands because the founder reviews it. UK trades, healthcare and local service businesses only.

See how I work →

Together or individually, every service runs through the same dashboard so you can see exactly what I did, when, and what changed as a result. That is the JDWA difference: one person doing all the work, all the work visible in one place, no relay.

Pricing

See the pricing

You see everything I do. In real time.

Every action goes through the dashboard. You log in any time and see exactly what was done this week, last week, the week before. Rankings, reviews, links, content, all on one screen. No monthly report deck to wait for and decode.

The dashboard is not a sales tool, it is the actual product. I build it myself and use it myself on every client account. When you become a client, you get the same view of your account that I have.

Preview is illustrative. Real client accounts have the same layout with live data for their account. A signed-off real case study will land here once the first client completes 90 days.

How search is changing

The landscape is shifting. Search isn't just Google anymore.

Five years ago “rank on Google” was the whole game. Today a meaningful share of trades-related searches happen inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews — before anyone clicks a link. The plumber who appears in those AI responses gets the £800 call-out. The one who doesn't, doesn't.

I track and optimise for both — Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — alongside the traditional local SEO work. It isn't a separate service; it's how the whole service works now.

What ships on this page right now

No outcomes claimed — just the parts you can verify yourself.

  • Schema.org JSON-LD — Person, Organization, Service, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, ImageObject
  • hreflang en-GB + canonical on every public page
  • Open Graph + Twitter Card meta — previews work when shared
  • llms.txt and robots.txt with AI crawler opt-in
  • A real sitemap.xml, updated when content ships
  • 30-client cap enforced in code, not in marketing copy

What gets tracked monthly

  • ChatGPT (with browsing) — does your business come up when a homeowner asks for a plumber, electrician, etc, near them?
  • Perplexity — citations are public, so visibility is directly measurable.
  • Google AI Overviews — which competitor domains the AI box is citing for your best keywords (and whether yours is one of them).
  • Gemini — Google's own AI; visible to anyone using Workspace, Pixel, or the Gemini app.

Same dashboard, one more search surface

AEO and GEO tracking lives in the same dashboard you already see. Same pricing tier, same monthly cadence. It isn't sold as a separate upsell because it only makes sense alongside the local SEO work it depends on — citations, GBP, reviews, content.

Simon Jackson, founder of JDWA

Simon Jackson

Sole operator

Based in the UK. Serving trades, healthcare and local services across the country.

A founder who capped the work at 30 clients.

I run JDWA on my own. Not 'me plus a junior', not 'me plus a contracted-out vendor'. Just me, the founder.

I take on a maximum of 30 clients at a time. That limit is coded into the platform itself, once the buffer is full, work pitches pause. I would rather miss the next enquiry than take on work I cannot deliver properly. The cap is what lets me personally write every deliverable, every week, instead of supervising someone else doing it.

What you get: a real person who answers your message in the same working day, who knows your account inside-out, and who can tell you honestly when something in your industry is shifting before the algorithm update confirms it.

Topics I am known for

AEO and GEO are 2026 additions to the practice — the rest is the work I've done since founding the studio.

Four steps. First one is free.

The audit is free and there is no obligation to sign up afterwards. If we work together, here is how the first 90 days go.

  1. 01

    Free audit

You tell me your trade and area. I spend 2 hours looking at your Google Business Profile, your last 3 months of GBP insights, your top 5 keywords, your top 5 competitors. You get a written report. No strings.

    48 hours

  2. 02

    Onboarding call

30 minutes on video. I ask questions. You tell me what you do and what work you want more of. We agree on which package fits.

    Same week

  3. 03

    Foundation week

Citation cleanup. Technical fix pass. Google Business Profile set up properly. Review-response templates ready. The work that sets up everything else.

    Week 1-2

  4. 04

    Compounding

Monthly work that builds on top of the foundation. Every action logged in the dashboard. Every month ends with a personal note from me explaining what changed.

    Month 2+

PPC management

Google Ads management, personally run. Not delegated to an account manager you'll never meet.

Founder-managed Google Ads. Same person sets up your account, writes the ads, reviews the search terms every week, and adjusts bids and keywords. No account-manager relay, no offshore team.

Capacity is capped at 10 accounts. When the cap is hit, prospective clients join a short waitlist rather than getting a yes I can't deliver on. There is a hard £1,000/month minimum ad spend because below that the data is too thin to optimise against and I'd be inventing recommendations.

Full offering — pricing tiers, what's included, what isn't: PPC management for UK trades and local services.
